There are moments when you find yourself standing between two identities—never leaving one behind, but learning how to carry both with balance. Walks in Two Worlds is my reflection of that experience as an Indigenous woman navigating life in mainstream America while protecting, honoring, and carrying my culture into every space I enter.

At its center is a handcrafted Cotton Candy Dahlia composite stone, cut by my husband, J. Rock Cabs. Surrounding it are Miyuki size 11 seed beads, satin Delica beads, and layers of our exclusively manufactured 24k gold stainless steel cubic zirconia chain. Additional details include 24k gold Miyuki Delica beads, our exclusive 24k gold rose cubic zirconia chain, and pink Preciosa crystal edging. The embroidered half is stitched entirely by hand using an array of Preciosa crystals before being finished with 24k gold Miyuki Delica beads along the edge. Each individually placed very meticulously. 🥵 The back is completed with traditionally white smoked North American deer hide. These earrings are also embellished with 18k gold filled and stainless steel gold plated chain accents. 

Measuring approximately 4 x 4 inches, this is an unapologetically bold piece. While large in scale, it remains lightweight, allowing it to be worn comfortably despite its presence. (We love a presence honey.)

This piece took me approximately 20 hours to create. The floral embroidery alone takes between 4 and 6 hours, with every detail placed by hand. Its value reflects more than the hours invested—it reflects knowledge, selectively sourced materials, exclusive components, and the commitment to creating work that carries meaning beyond adornment.
