 The pricing reflects the labor-intensive process required to achieve consistent, richly dyed shells while preserving the natural characteristics that make dentalium so special.

Shell size is approximately 2 inches, making them perfect for earrings, statement pieces, contemporary beadwork, and mixed-media designs.

For artists who prefer an even more vibrant or sealed finish, shells may be coated with a protective layer. We recommend using a spray varnish such as Duraclear Soft Varnish or Liquitex to enhance color longevity and protect your work over time.
